When planning your next event, be sure to consider the "entertainment value" of a live musical performance. Unlike DJ entertainment, there is an inherent power and energy to live entertainment that captivates and appeals to any audience. So, if you like the songs and sounds of Johnny Smith and his band The Johnny Smith Group, please consider hiring Johnny for your special event. 

There are some factors affecting the cost of live music that need to be considered when planning an event such as the size of the band (solo, duo, trio, 4-piece band or larger), the location and length of time played and the type of event. Standard playing time is generally 3-4 hours . A general guideline for private party cost would be $200 per hour for Johnny and $150 per musician/per hour additional.
